Bio-Mi participated at the final event that marked the official closure of the EFFECTIVE project, on 16 February 2023 in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
The final stakeholder event was dedicated to celebrating innovation in sustainability and circularity and was a perfect opportunity to present the outcomes of the project and discuss how we can co-create the future.
The final event was attended by the following distinguished speakers:

- Key-note speaker: Janez Potočnik, Ph.D., European Commissioner for Environment 2009‒2014, partner at Sistemiq (virtual presence)

The results of Effective and their potential was discussed by representatives of the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology, Climate-KIC, SPIRIT Business Slovenia, and Novamont as the EFFECTIVE project partner.
The project was a collaboration of 12 companies, spanning the whole value chain, and organizations that produce bio-based fibres and plastics for large consumer products by using renewable feedstocks and innovative technologies. The main purpose of the final event was to present key activities and results of the Effective project, proving the possibility to produce innovative biobased materials that can potentially be commercialized in the future.
